Rebecca Solari presents "Acte Vie — Scène Réparatrice" at the family home perched on a mountainside plateau between a lake and peaks. The wind carries scents of spruce and wet stone, while the water below mirrors the shifting clouds. The landscape transforms with mist and changing light, where stormy evenings may reveal silhouettes of lost lovers. Violette, chewing gum mechanically, prepares the legendary soup of survivors with her family, a recipe passed down through generations.

The kitchen, opening onto mossy rocks, exudes the smell of rain and leek. The soup, a mysterious brew, binds with memory rather than artificial thickeners. Each spoonful embodies an alchemy of shared experiences and emotions. As the family stirs and argues, Violette stands tall, reminiscing about Ormeo, a cherished companion. The storm outside intensifies, reflecting the inner tension and transformation within the home.

As Violette drinks the soup, she realizes the legend of the lightning-struck lovers symbolizes inner fire and resilience. The soup, alive and vibrant, ignites her senses and illuminates her being. The storm outside mirrors the awakening within her, softening the air with a calm melancholy. Violette smiles, spits out her gum, and embraces the cycle of destruction and renewal.

Frontroom POGO NEL BRODO

In the in-situ installation at KRONE COURONNE, Rebecca Solari's work simmers with intensity. The figurative broth reflects themes of body, class, and nationhood, boiling under pressure. Solari, a transdisciplinary artist, blends elements of punk and performance in her work. Awarded prestigious prizes, her art challenges boundaries and confronts societal norms.
