Exhibition: "Mathias C. Pfund at Kunsthaus Biel"

Mathias C. Pfund's exhibition "with fondest regards" is an artistic intervention inspired by the 2023 donation of Mary Ann and Hal Glicksman to Kunsthaus Biel. Pfund focuses on two fluorescent tube works by Dan Flavin, exploring their significance and context. Through a diverse range of artistic gestures, Pfund creates a rich and engaging study that delves into the relationship between art, history, and personal connections.

Exhibition: "Nathalie Du Pasquier & Olivier Mosset"

Nathalie Du Pasquier and Olivier Mosset, two internationally recognized artists, come together for the first time in a joint exhibition at Kunsthaus Biel. Despite their distinct styles, both artists share a common interest in avant-garde history and a playful approach to their work. The exhibition sparks a dialogue on abstract painting, its historical weight, decorative aspects, and its relationship to language.

Exhibition: "Jos de Gruyter & Harald Thys"

Belgian duo Jos de Gruyter and Harald Thys create a haunting world populated by strange creatures in their exhibition "Impressions de Biel" at Kunsthaus Biel. Their use of models and puppets as central elements in their artistic practice reflects the remnants of complex human existence. The interconnected works in the exhibition function like a coded script, evoking a nightmarish and eerie atmosphere.
