Nathalie Du Pasquier & Olivier Mosset
Nathalie Du Pasquier (*1957) worked as a designer at the Memphis group until 1987 and has since focused on painting. Olivier Mosset (*1944) is a central figure in post-war abstract painting. Although their works differ, they share a common interest in avant-garde history and a playful spirit.
Jos De Gruyter & Harald Thys
The Belgian duo Jos de Gruyter (*1965) & Harald Thys (*1966) create a nightmarish world populated by strange creatures. Their works with models or puppets reflect the remnants of complex human existence, functioning like an old Swiss clock programmed with a coded script.
Mathias C. Pfund
Mathias C. Pfund (*1992) undertakes an artistic intervention based on the 2023 donation to Kunsthaus Biel. He focuses on Dan Flavin's works with fluorescent tubes, exploring various source materials through his artistic gestures.
Lumpen Station @ Studiolo
Throughout 2024, the webradio Lumpen Station takes over the Studiolo, producing public radio shows with sound artists from different scenes, archived and continuously broadcasted on lumpenstation.art.
